The company is proud to have invested considerably in setting up an exclusive facility measuring about 50,000 sq.ft for R&D for bringing new focus to innovation. The facility has state of the art equipment and facilities for Formulation Development Laboratory, Analytical Development Laboratory and Walk-in Stability Chambers and pilot plant as per ICH guidelines and has been accredited by DSIR (Directorate of Scientific & Industrial Research).
With a good team of experienced and well motivated professionals, well equipped laboratory, ruthless conformity to quality and documentation, the company has been able to introduce new products from time to time, sustain the product efficacy, market acceptability and growth.
Owing to the focus on bringing innovative products to the global market, the R&D function is being managed as a strategic business unit. The objective is towards developing innovative products for new age therapies. The company is proud to have developed many product formulations which are patented.
One of the most significant achievement of our R&D Division is the successful launch of Sofinox, a dermatological product which is first-of-its-kind in the world, utilizing a novel technology platform. The company is proud to have the patent rights for the same. The medical profession's acceptance of Sofinox is exceptional and the company is looking forward to supplying this product to the world market. In addition, there are a line of products which have been developed using this innovative platform which will be launched in India and overseas markets.
As part of its new focus, the division's capability has been enhanced to undertake contract research and technology transfer to pharma majors across the globe. This will also include the provision of innovative technology development services to our strategic business partners
